Every day, Audrey was getting a little bit bigger, eventually waking up one morning actually starting to show!

This made Blair extremely excited and made it more REAL.

She was right next to Audrey’s side, practically from the second she woke up in the morning.

That morning, Audrey also had a huge surprise for Blair. She had secretly gone to the hospital for an ultrasound to find out the gender. She knew Blair really wanted to know, but she also wanted to surprise her with the news. She was having….

….a boy!!!!

Weeks later, Audrey woke up with weird pains in her lower back. They weren’t too bad, so she didn’t tell anyone.

Later that night, however, she went into labor. The three of them emerged from the hospital with Blair carrying the baby.

Welcome Benson Prescott to the family! He is a loner but also a virtuoso. He loves Latin music, autumn salad, and the color violet.

Blair was constantly holding Benson, or feeding him, or snuggling him. She would barely even let Gerard so much as touch him!

So the next day, after Cora celebrated her birthday, Blair walked in on this..

..and she just went off on Audrey, crying and screaming.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING????”

“YOU ARE NOT HIS MOTHER!!! GIVE HIM TO ME.”

Audrey told her to calm down and she wasn’t handing over Benson while she was in that state.

Blair thought for a second, and realized Audrey was right. So she calmed down and went to the mirror to fix herself up, never saying a word to Audrey.

Audrey put Benson back into his crib and left the room.

Blair walked over and picked up Benson and started to rock him.

“Don’t worry, Mommy’s here.”

In the basement, Audrey was extremely sad. It looked like she had aged 20 years as well.

She told her mom what had just happened, and Norah said to just let it all calm down and everything will be back to normal tomorrow.

Blair’s actions were having adverse effects on Gerard too.

When the baby would cry, he would look all around for Blair out of fear she would come storming in seeing he had the baby.

The next day, Norah and Audrey took a trip to the park to talk more about what happened.

But Norah didn’t know what to tell her to do about her sister.

Audrey wasn’t sure if she could continue living at the house with Blair acting like this.

Norah told her daughter that she was an established doctor and could buy the nicest house in town if she wanted. She could even open up her own practice, anything she wanted to do, she could.

That night, Gerard quietly aged into an elder.

The next morning, Audrey awoke and went outside to get the mail. That’s when she noticed the balloons.

She had forgotten that it was Benson’s birthday that day.

She decided right then she wouldn’t be able to handle the party, and so she was going to move out.

Sadly, she made the phone call and left without saying goodbye.

When Blair heard that Audrey left, she got upset. She went into Audrey’s empty room with Benson and stood there reflecting.

Hopefully, something in her will change and the relationship with her sister will be repaired.

That afternoon was Benson’s birthday party.

Blair couldn’t believe her little baby was growing up already.

She invited all of her siblings, except for Audrey.

And much to Blair’s surprise, although probably not to her family’s, Cora was the only one who could stand to be around Blair at this point.

Last time, Blair visited France and fell in love with two different Frenchmen. When she returned home, she decided to call the one she had been missing the most.

Blair was swimming in the pool when she noticed this girl walk up the house. Neither Blair nor Audrey had any children, so there was no reason for a young girl to be coming to the house.

She got out of the pool and walked over to see what she wanted. The girl said that her parents had dropped her off in Sunset Valley with her backpack and a stuffed animal and told her they were moving to Guam. The girl had no idea what to do, so she came to the first house she saw.

Blair was shocked. She immediately got dressed and took her down to City Hall.

Not surprisingly, Blair didn’t even go into City Hall with the girl, instead opting to play guitar outside.

It wasn’t long before the girl came out of the doors and walked over to Blair.

She told Blair everything that happened. The girl told the judge what her parents did. But she also told him she didn’t want to go into foster care. The judge asked her what she wanted. The girl said she wanted to live with Blair.

“You have two weeks to print a form from the computer, bring it down to City Hall and sign it to legally adopt me. If you don’t, then I go into foster care,” she told Blair.

This was a lot to take in. Blair calmly explained that she wasn’t quite sure she was ready for a child.

The girl pleaded with her to think about it, to which Blair said she would but she also wasn’t promising anything. The girl said she understood.

Two weeks had passed and Blair somehow found herself down at City Hall with the girl, papers in hand.

She signed the papers and became a mother all in a matter of 15 seconds. The girl didn’t want to live the rest of her life with her birth name, so they also filed papers with the city to change her name. That evening, the girl became Cora and she couldn’t be happier.

The next morning, Blair was outside gardening when this man showed up…

It was Gerard! She couldn’t get the image of his face the time she came back to the bookstore out of her head. He looked like he was in heaven and she wanted her future husband to feel like that all the time. She was also hoping that the news of Cora wouldn’t scare him away.

Gerard grabbed Blair and wouldn’t let go.

She immediately went in the house to introduce him to her mom and Audrey. (Cora was staying at a friend’s house that night.)

Luckily, he and Audrey got along swimmingly.

The next day while Blair was at work, Gerard relaxed in the tub thinking about what he wanted out of this.

He was getting older now and knew he wanted to start a family. He just wasn’t sure if he wanted to move halfway around the world to a new country and a new culture to do so.

He weighed the pros and cons and by the time Blair returned from work, he had made up his mind..

He was ready to make the commitment and stay in Sunset Valley for the rest of his life. But at that moment, he had to return to France to pack up everything and tie some loose ends.

Since Norah was now a big rock star, she decided to get a tattoo! She had to live up to the hype somehow!

She ended up just getting some little stars on her wrist, not a big deal.

Cora’s birthday came up very quickly.

She actually kind of resembles Audrey!

A few days after her birthday, Gerard came back to Sunset Valley.

Blair told him the whole story of how Cora joined the family.

But all he could think about was that kiss Blair planted on him moments ago!

Cora had also made Blair realize she WAS ready for a child, and since Gerard was too, they decided to go ahead and try for one.

A few days later, Blair wasn’t feeling so hot.

She told Gerard the good news.

“So, uh, that thing we did the other night, you know, in bed? I think it worked!”

But it turns out that Blair had just eaten some bad food and wasn’t really pregnant after all.

Gerard and Blair went to the hospital to get checked out because they still weren’t getting pregnant after weeks of trying.

The doctor told them that everything seemed normal. He also told them to keep trying and it will eventually happen.

When they returned home, Gerard noticed that Blair looked really upset.

He grabbed her hands and told her to look at him.

He told her that they needed to stay positive and everything will work out, he’s sure of it.

Later that evening, Audrey took Gerard outside to talk with him.

“Gerard, you know I work at the hospital, and I have some friends who work in the fertility department. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask.”
He thanked Audrey and told her he’d keep that in mind.

A few days later, Blair again told Gerard she thought it was happening, for real this time.

It turned out to be another false alarm.

Audrey decided to talk to Blair about going to see a fertility doctor.

Audrey told her she’d go with her, so Blair agreed and the three of them went down to the hospital.

When they came out, Audrey gave Blair her prescription fertility medications and told her exactly how to take them.

A week later, Blair started getting really sick.

She thought she was pregnant, so she visited the doctor. He told her that vomiting is an unfortunate side effect of these meds and it often gets mistaken as morning sickness.

Blair was devastated. Her doctor offered her one more option. He could implant an embryo from Blair and Gerard into Audrey. This was Blair’s last hope.

As soon as she could, she spoke with Audrey. It took a few days of convincing, but Audrey finally agreed to do it! The whole family was so excited. A week later, they went to the hospital for the big day.

Audrey emerged from the simple procedure to a huge hug from Blair.

A few days later, Audrey was relaxing by herself, thinking about the good thing she had done for her sister…

…when she suddenly felt the flutters.

She was pregnant!! The procedure had worked!!

She couldn’t wait to share the news and called Gerard over right away. Sadly, Blair was at work, so she would have to wait to hear the good news.

Gerard’s reaction was priceless.

And he immediately felt Audrey’s belly.

A few hours later, Blair finally returned home from work. Audrey ran to the front door to tell her the news.

She was ecstatic!

Blair started crying and talking to the baby telling it she had waited so long for this and couldn’t wait to meet him or her.

However, what I was trying to do was transfer .sims3pack (? I think) files that I had installed through the game launcher to a different (better) computer that I now play Sims on.

When the one patch came, it wouldn’t install .sims3pack files that weren’t downloaded from EA, or something like that. So a program was developed by someone on MTS (pretty sure) where you could convert them to .package files. Now those are easy to transfer between computers. And I just recently found the way to transfer the .sims3pack files I had installed to my other computer. More than a few CC items used in my legacy weren’t showing up and I didn’t want to play without them. So I’ll probably transfer them today and probably start back playing today or tomorrow, if it works.

Update to the update: OK so that didn’t work. I don’t know what I am going to do now. I might just play on the new computer without some of the stuff in the house. I’m also getting a few bugs, for example the family tree won’t open and when someone plays on the computer, it’s REALLY loud. Who knows. I did play for a bit yesterday, so I’ll probably just continue to play without the CC I had on my other computer until this legacy is finished.

I’m still here! Sorry it’s been so long, I’ve been busy. I have finals week coming up, so after that hopefully I get more time to play.

So last time, the kids grew up into young adults. Camden started dating Geneva which made Chip angry. Speaking of Chip, he passed away. Conor and Leah became a couple.

The night after the triplets had grown up, Camden decided to move out. Although her father was dead and she loved her mother and siblings, this house had provided her with too many bad memories to be living there much longer.

“Ella, you are so clever. I’m so proud of you.”

“Oh thanks mom! Hey, look! Some dirt!”

“Argh, yum, urgh.”

“I take back what I said. I’m gonna be sick…”

Blair was so excited to have a job in the culinary career, she practically ran to work every day.

Leah was so sad she wasn’t chosen as heiress.

But she got over it when Conor came over.

“Aren’t you sick of your sisters? Why don’t you come live with me?”

“You know what, you’re right. Audrey is so boring, all she does is work. She’s either at work or working from home. My mom just watches TV. Blair, well she’s grumpy and……she’s Blair. I’ll move in with you!”

Conor got in his car and waited for Leah to get in with him.

She was excited to start her new life, but was nervous at the same time.

Update: Leah and Conor got married and she’s pregnant! I’ll be sure to pay her a visit once the baby is born.

Also, as another little update, Matilda (Norah’s sister) had another baby after moving out. She had a little boy named Rod, making that five boys!

Blair had decided to take a vacation to possibly find love. It seemed like everyone around Sunset Valley was elderly and she wanted to find someone her own age.

She booked her vacation that night when she got home from work. She’d be leaving the next morning for France – perfect place to find true love.

Audrey was still living at home. By this time, she had already been promoted to paramedic. Being a workaholic really helped her with getting promotions.

Seems like she had caught something though from being around the hospital.

The next morning, Blair landed in France. She looked over the bulletin board of activities, but nothing caught her fancy.

She decided to just ride around town to see what it had to offer.

Blair hopped on the moped the base camp provided for her and headed off to the little plaza that had a bookstore and cafe among other little shops.

When she arrived, she noticed these beautiful golden butterflies that she had never seen around Sunset Valley. She ran over to inspect them further.

To her surprise, they didn’t flutter away and she was able to catch one!

Her next stop was the bookstore where she met Gerard Morel, the owner.

She introduced herself and Gerard could immediately sense that Blair wasn’t a big book lover. He had been watching her since she entered the shop and noticed she looked a bit confused and out of her element.

Blair confirmed to him that she wasn’t really a book reader and he acted disgusted. Blair knew this wasn’t going to work, so she said goodbye and left.

Not letting herself get down, she continued walking around town, this time in the neighborhood section.

“Hey, come back! I think I see the Loch Ness Monster!”
-Wrong country Blair.

I think Blair would be better off with the elder men at home…

She got back on her moped, riding around and enjoying the scenery.

That’s when she saw this man just walking along the side of the road.

She stopped, got off the moped, and walked over to introduce herself. His name was Elliot Saint James. Blair asked him if he was single. He said no and immediately walked away.

Blair was starting to get frustrated.

“Why is every man in this city married? I thought Champs Les Sims was the most romantic city in the world!!!”

She called him back over, under the guise that she wanted him to teach her a song.

They then spent the rest of the night getting to know each other.

After a good night’s rest, Blair went back to the bookstore to see Gerard.

He looked smitten with her, and he wasn’t sure why he didn’t notice this the first time he met her.

Blair was starting to get a little homesick. She said goodbye to Gerard, promising that she’d see him again and headed over to the general store to buy some souvenirs before she left.

She called the taxi and left that afternoon.

Norah was anxious to hear all about her daughter’s trip.

“Did you fall in love with anyone so you can give me some grandchildren?”
“No. And I’m not having them anytime soon. I don’t really wanna get fat…”

“How about the men? I heard they are really hairy over there, sort of like your Aunt Matilda’s husband, Einstein.”
Blair just laughed thinking of all the funny-looking men she saw there.

A couple days later, Blair decided to call a Frenchman she had been missing.

Last time, Denver became close with Veronica. Leah was getting acquainted with Conor Kent. The triplets became teenagers.

“They look more like molehills to me…”

*ahem* Anyway, moving on.

Since Camden was always grumpy and it seemed that her dad didn’t want her at home anyway, she decided to visit the graveyard. Dead people wouldn’t judge her.

Of course she had to explore the catacombs and of course it didn’t work out very well.

She ran home after she emerged.

We came back to find Norah and Chip being romantic.

“Can you believe I can still get me some of her?!”

Later that night, on her way home from work, Norah celebrated her birthday. She got off the bus, in the middle of nowhere, and grew up.

After school, Camden went over to Geneva Blackmon’s house. They had been getting to be pretty good friends over the past week or so and Camden was beginning to develop feelings for her. She didn’t dare act on those feelings because she knew her dad would get upset.

This family makes some of the weirdest facial expressions. Here are a couple examples:

A few days later, it was Denver’s birthday.

He got the grumpy trait and his LTW is World Renowned Surgeon. He also decided to move out right away to get away from all of those girls. He also wanted to start his own life with Veronica.

Although it was very strange that he would come over later that night.

I’m not going to try to figure out these Sims.

Since Ella’s LTW was to become Emperor of Evil, she decided to start working on her athletic skill.

And why does she look pregnant???

“Hey Blair, do you think I could sell tickets for this trick I do with my arm? I think people would wanna see it. Who else can bend their arm like this?!”

Camden invited Geneva over and to her surprise, Geneva started flirting with her!

Camden was quick to warn her about her father and how he wouldn’t approve of their relationship.

“Don’t be shocked if he doesn’t like you. He’s old-fashioned, if you know what I mean…”

After a day of watching TV and just talking, Camden walked Geneva upstairs to say goodbye.

“So I was asking my sister the other day if people would pay to see this trick I can do with my arm. Do you wanna see?”

Things were getting a little hot and heavy…

..which led to their first kiss!

Little did Camden know, her father was right there in the other room painting and had heard everything.

(Geneva accepted the proposal to go steady, by the way.)

Chip walked over to Camden, ready to chew her out.

“What do you think you are doing with her?????”

“You will NOT embarrass me and this family by being in that kind of relationship! Do you hear me?!”

And then Chip walked away, not letting Camden have a word in.

But Camden had had enough of her father and didn’t care what he thought. As he walked away, she grabbed Geneva and gave her the biggest kiss of her life.

After Geneva left, Camden went downstairs to tell her mother what happened and to tell her about Geneva, knowing that she would be accepting of her.

And she was.

The next day, instead of inviting Geneva over, Camden asked her on a date to the theatre.

That’s when I spotted this guy across the street at the park.

Audrey hopped in a taxi as quickly as she could to get down there and meet him.

Back at home, Chip and Norah were having a little fight.

When this happened.

Now, I’m never one to celebrate a Sim’s death, but – It’s about time!!!!

“Why isn’t your favorite color purple, you no good Grimmie!!!”

Because I had another gravestone, and I didn’t like how it looked next to Sloan’s near the garden, I built a little graveyard near the back of the lot.

I also changed the kitchen around a bit. I put a window above the counters that looks out onto the pool.

And I added some more counters with chairs and moved them against the wall (so they could actually be used, because where I had them first, Sims could sit on the chairs, but they couldn’t eat while sitting).

“IT’S TH-TH-THRILLER!!!”

That morning, it was time for Leah and Ella to grow up.

Leah. Family-oriented trait. She chose Surrounded by Family LTW.

Ella. Clumsy trait.

Leah invited Conor over right away.

“I just had a birthday!”
“NO WAY! Just wait until you find out what I got you! *wink*”

“Trust me, you’re gonna love it.”

“Hehehe, should I made a CD of slow songs for my surprise?”

Conor went to seek out Ella to ask her a question.

“So I’m thinking of proposing to your sister. What kind of ring does she like?”

“I wouldn’t get her anything you can see from outer space…”

“OK, gotcha, I shouldn’t spend much money then.”
Ella nodded.

Poor Leah is probably going to end up with just a diamond chip.

So after that conversation ended, all of a sudden I hear this loud ROOOOOOARRRRR!! I search throughout the house to see who it could be and find this.

Poor girl! She was just trying to console Norah!

The next day when Leah went to call Conor, she noticed she had the name Saul in her phonebook as well. She didn’t really remember how she knew him, but she decided to invite him over as well for Ella.

They were getting along fine when Ella decided to flirt with him even though she knew he had a girlfriend.

Obviously, that didn’t go over too well. Ella wasn’t too upset because she wasn’t sure if she liked him enough as it is.

Meanwhile, Leah and Conor became an item!

Conor wanted to give Leah her surprise and get on with the WooHooing, but Leah calmed him down and told him soon. Not to mention he kept begging her in front of her whole family! Men….

A couple days later it was time for another birthday, this time the triplets.

Blair. Childish trait. Five Star Chef LTW.

Audrey. Slob. World Renowned Surgeon LTW.

And Camden. Slob. Chess Legend LTW.

The fighting in the house subsided…….for now. But that didn’t mean everyone forgot about it.

Audrey wasn’t feeling all that great about the atmosphere in the house and asked Ella if she wanted to get out of there.

Ella didn’t feel like going anywhere though.

Maybe this is why Chip doesn’t like Camden?

Because she doesn’t do everything he does.

Yeah….uh, Norah. I’m not sure you should go in the pool with a cell phone.

Leah and Denver seemed to be getting along quite well. They were playing around in the pool.

Leah then splashed him, still playing around.

But for some reason, this made Denver really mad and he started angrily splashing her back, got out of the pool, and stormed off.

At least some of the siblings were getting along!

This family isn’t a lost cause after all!

Sigh…

“You watch too much TV!”
Psst! Chip! She’s a couch potato!

Audrey even seemed to be getting annoyed with her dad.

Chip walked away looking satisfied.

Father of the Year candidate right there, folks!

Denver decided to invite Veronica over to get him out of his bad mood.

“So what kind of bed do you have? Can I try it out?”
Wow, she’s kind of taking things fast!

Denver was left speechless.

“Uh…….um, it’s a…I guess…uh……..ok?”

Denver misread her advances and went in for their first kiss.

He was denied.

Leah invited Conor over.

Darn, he’s an adult now. He’s also now a gardener….I think.

Leah told him that she wanted to be an actress when she grew up.

He wasn’t impressed and went on this huge rant about actors.

“I stay FAAAAAR away from actresses. I’ve dated many of them in my lifetime…”

“…and they are ALL crazy. And I mean ALL of them.”

“Don’t be silly! We aren’t all crazy.”

After a little more talking and prodding, Denver finally got a kiss out of Veronica!

“OHMYGOD HETHINKSI’MCRAZY.”

“You mean I have to clean that up? But I’m soooo tiiirrreedddd.”

The next day was the triplets’ birthday!

Blair, who got the Neurotic trait.

Audrey.

She got the Workaholic trait.

And finally, Camden. She got the Handy trait.

“Mom, some guy told me my boobs look like maracas. Isn’t that hilarious?”
*Norah thinks Audrey is being impolite.*

I’m still here! Just been really busy. My birthday was a week ago (I’m 24 now….I feel so old!) which was also the week of my spring break, so you’d think I’d be able to play with all that time off, but I went out a few days for my birthday. Now I’m back in school and there’s about a month and a half left so it’s been hectic.

I hope to get back to playing soon, maybe even tonight or this weekend. We’ll see!

Previously, Norah had a set of twins (Leah and Ella) and a set of triplets (Blair, Audrey, and Camden). Chip grew into an elder. We left off with the twins growing into teens.

It was also the triplets’ birthday. First was Blair.

She got the Vegetarian trait.

Next was Audrey.

She acquired the Disciplined trait.

And last was Camden, who got the………and it looks like I forgot to write it down! I’ll get it next time.

Their nursery was turned into their bedroom, with poor Ella having to share the room.

“Sushi is awesome. You should really try it.”

“No thanks, I’ll stick with meat.”
Blair looks repulsed.

“I’m gonna go see if mom will have another baby.”
“WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?! We have enough siblings!”

Leah brought home Veronica Duncan and Denver moved in on her right away.

They were hitting it off pretty well.

A couple hours after the kids got home from school, the pool installer finally came and built the pool! The kids had been asking for one for a while and hated having to go to the community pool when they wanted to swim.

A few of the kids came out right away to try out the pool.

Inside the house, Veronica and Denver were in the basement hanging out.

It was a good sign that Norah was getting along with Veronica.

Denver was still a little shy and didn’t want to crowd Veronica so he didn’t sit right next to her on the couch. They were still having a nice conversation though. That’s when Leah decided to plop herself right in between them.

This didn’t make Denver too happy.

I went to check on Chip and noticed that he was arguing with Camden. This wasn’t the first time this has happened. When Camden started to cry, he would usually issue a half-hearted apology.

Of course Camden would accept. What else could she do?

The next morning, things escalated. Camden was eating her breakfast in the basement while Chip was watching TV. That’s when Chip said something that he could never apologize for

“I don’t love you as much as the other kids.”

Camden immediately got up and walked away the angriest she has ever been.

Since it was Saturday, the whole family headed down to the park. Camden wasn’t really in the mood to go, but Norah made her.

Norah went straight to playing her guitar hoping to make a little money. She was also so close to maxing the guitar skill, so she figured she’d kill two birds with one stone.

Audrey spent her day fishing.

The teens went around meeting people hoping to find someone they clicked with. Even Denver, even though he liked Veronica.

Leah started out with Conor Kent, a newspaper deliverer.

Charming.

Denver set his sights a bit higher when he went after this Asian tourist.

Ella decided to play chess instead since she didn’t find anyone who caught her eye.

Leah wasn’t really hitting it off with Conor. She decided to head down to the beach and see if anyone was hanging out there.

She met Amit.
“He looks like he eats too much….”
She talked to him for a bit anyway.

But she ended up being more interested in the fight between two elder women behind him.

Denver, on the other hand, walked over to the pool. He had overheard at the park that Veronica was there.

But this woman cut off his path and introduced herself.

He excused himself and walked over to Veronica.

“UNBREEEEAKKK MYYYYY HEEEEAARRRRRRRRRRRT…….do you like my voice? Do you think I could be a singer?”

“It’s the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard…”
Since it was getting dark, Denver invited Veronica over, so they went back to the house.

That’s when I saw Chip and Camden fighting again.

“WHY ISN’T YOUR FAVORITE FOOD GOOPY CARBONARA?!?!”

Veronica and Denver arrived home.

“Do you still think I’m sexy if I push my chest out like this?”

It was late, so Veronica left after that exchange.

The next morning was pretty quiet. Norah went for a swim while Chip gardened.

But then some yelling was heard coming from inside the house.

“I saw those pictures!”
“Why were you snooping in my room?!!!!!!”

“They are going to make you famous around Sunset Valley, just you wait!”

There is way too much fighting in this house right now!

Today, the same thing happened. It’s a registry error that nothing seems to fix. Luckily I found this AWESOME site that gave me some directions on how to recover my files by using a Linux disc to startup from before reformatting my hard drive.

So I have recovered my Sims files (among a bunch of other things) and should be back up and running soon.

I am so relieved that I was able to save my files.
